The Cavendish Village Hall has been the hub of community activity since 1926. There is a main hall, smaller WI room ideal for meetings and a well stocked kitchen.

OPENING OF BEELEY VILLAGE HALL
According to an earlier unknown archivist, the following article appeared in the High Peak News on 31 January 1926.
A photocopy of the original exists among the Beeley archives here in the village, but a retyped article in a larger font and with slightly less punctuation, in order to make it easier to read is available here (opens in a new window). The Duke referred to is Victor Cavendish 9th Duke, and his wife was Duchess Evelyn.
