Welcome to Beeley Parish Council
Beeley is a beautiful and historic village of around 500 residents, in the Derbyshire Dales, close to the magnificent Chatsworth Estate.
Originally an Anglo-Saxon agricultural community, Beeley was first recorded as a settlement in the Domesday Book of 1086, when it was called ‘Begelie’.
There is a thriving village hall, recreation areas and St Anne’s Church, of Norman origin, dating back to 1150.
The village is also home to The Beeley Arms, inn and restaurant, and a stylish independent café, The Old Smithy.
